This warehouse is particularly suitable for housing spare parts, components, and small-sized items which are collected in special containers with a capacity of up to 350 kg. The loading and/or refilling activity is carried out via the use of a “bay” especially equipped with a “item-counter weighing platform” and a “shape checking device”. The operator in charge of the warehouse has the use of a computer onto which the loading and unloading lists are “imported” from the central computer system. The “VELOX”  transporting-elevator robot handles the warehouse containers being loaded/unloaded, transporting them into the “bay” where the operator physically carries out his “refilling” and “picking-up” activities.
